You have options to let the library deliver it for you via courier free of charge or pick up the books at the Magdalo Gate (Gate 1).

  1. Books borrowed may be returned through the book drops located at the Magdalo Gate (Gate 1) and at the library entrance (for faculty members/staff only).

A notification will be sent to your DLSU-D email once the book has been recorded as returned in our system. Note: Please be informed that the shipping costs for the library resources returned via courier shall be shouldered by the borrower.

Yes, bonafide students, faculty, administrators, and staff of DLSU-D are allowed to avail of the scanning services of the library. However, only selected chapters can be scanned in compliance with the Philippine copyright laws.

The requester shall provide any of the following:
  • Proof of conversation showing that the author allows access to his thesis/dissertation (screenshot or copy of conversation shall be sent either in email or FB messenger), or
  • An email to the library from the author granting full-text access to his thesis.

You may submit an e-copy of your thesis/dissertation in pdf format to aklatanthesis@dlsud.edu.ph. An acknowledgment letter will be sent to your email once it is received by the library. The Access Permit to Thesis & Dissertation and the Approval Sheet should be attached with signatures of the adviser and panelists.

The Access Permit to Thesis & Dissertation can be requested from your respective Graduate School secretaries or you may request for an e-copy by sending an email to aklatan@dlsud.edu.ph.

Please be guided by the following policy in?requesting a copy of the course?syllabi:
  1. The requestor must present the following:
    • Letter of?request
    • Letter of endorsement from the Officer of the University Registrar
    • Copy of the Transcript of Record (TOR) or list of subjects with the specified semester and school year
  2. Print/electronic?copy is charged Five Pesos Php5.00/page?and a?processing fee of One Hundred Pesos (Php100.00)shall be charged when?requesting a copy.
  3. Payment of the processing fee and the printing cost shall be made at the Accounting Office/DLSU-D accredited bank.
  4. The transaction receipt must be emailed to?aklatan@dlsud.edu.ph for proper verification of payment if it has been received by the accounting office.
  5. A maximum of?three working days?shall be allotted for the release of the documents.
  6. The?requestor is responsible for securing the university seal for his/her documents from the Office of the University Registrar (OUR).
  7. Any valid I.D. shall be presented in claiming the request. In case the requester cannot claim the documents, an authorization letter?is required on behalf of the?requestor.
