The Serials Section houses all local and foreign magazines, scholarly journals, and newspapers. Current serial resources are displayed in the magazines racks. Back issues of subscribed journals are bound and arranged alphabetically according to titles and Library of Congress Classification System. The section also provides computers and iPads to access electronic databases like PressReader, Emerald, EBSCOhost Academic Source Complete, Gale, Proquest, Cambridge, IEEE, Science Direct, Philippine E-Journals, Philippine Studies, Wiley, Explora, Open Access Journals, and e-newspapers. Back issues of newspapers are also available in digital versatile discs (DVD) formats.
Three discussion rooms are also available in this section for group/collaborative study. |
